Obviously yesterday was father's day, and I planned to write this post yesterday as well. However I decided to wait a day because my dad has been in my life, every step of the way everyday. We argue (rarely) we laugh a lot and make jokes (all the time, just ask my mom) and we enjoy each other's company. My dad has always been there for me from coaching my little league baseball team, to teaching me how to ride a bike, to being that side line coach at my high school basketball games. He's been there every time I needed advice, and still continues to be a great role model. Happy father's day everyday because you haven't missed a day being a dad since I was born.

I second that emotion - because I think I've watched Otis' transition at every point along the axis. We've lead parallel lives. Checking each box along life's trajectory within months of each other. Truly a great father and a brother to me no matter who our mothers are!
